I’m almost beyond words when it comes to the Zang Toi Fall/Winter 2016 “Courchevel Chic” collection. So what can I say? Exquisite, elegant, graceful, lush, vibrant, breath taking…
Zang Toi presented at Pier 59 Studios on February 13, 2016. You could feel the energy and anticipation as the crowd filled the room. The show began with an entirely black and grey collection of casual and business wear ranging from a velvet ski vest with leather leggings to a wool suit with a mink neckline. Vibrant hues of red and purple appeared from backstage as the collection transitioned to evening wear. The sheath dresses and silver screen gowns with detailed hand beading took center stage. Many luxurious materials were displayed throughout this show, including cashmere, silk, velvet, wool, saga royal mink, saga royal fox and ostrich feathers.
The style team for these glamorous looks includes Eiji Salon for Macadamia Hair and BeautyByRudy for Ubati on make-up. Nails were manicured with Zoya nail polish. Judith Rice and Associates directed and music was by Kevin Seabrooke.
