It is definitely the season of the print. Among the season’s hottest prints at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 was the graphic print, shown everywhere from Michael Kors to Whitney Eve. This season’s graphic print can be a classic geometric graphic print or a little abstract. This season, you will be able to find a graphic print in classic black and white or experiment with a bright color. It is all about mixing prints, colors and textures for Spring/Summer 2013.
Michael Kors
Michael Kors makes an incredibly chic statement with this black and white coat. Michael Kors stayed true to his iconic American style in his Spring/Summer 2013 collection with pattern mixing, primary colors and stripes.
Clover Canyon
In 2011, LA based designer Rozae Nichols launched her affordable line Clover Canyon. Nichols has based her line around her love of prints and has described her collection in three words: “joyfully patterned clothing”. For Nichols, it’s all about the ease of the clothing while evoking a playful spirit. Clover Canyon’s collection is extremely wearable while using exciting color combinations and prints.
Whitney Eve
Whitney Port has always never been afraid of print and her Spring/Summer 2013 collection proves it. Whitney Eve truly embodies a young, hip vibe while staying true to her California spirit. Port shows us that yes, print can be everywhere even on a slouchy pant. The color palette is muted so that the print is a true standout.
