About Me

I began sewing the summer before my Fourth Grade year. My mother signed my sister and me up for a week-long sewing camp, where we learned how to operate the machines, iron, and measure and cut fabrics. This introduction enticed me, and I became involved in a sewing program that met every Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Twice a year, the program hosted fashion shows of the collections that the young designers had been working hard on the last several months, allowing us to show off what we could do.
