Recognized for doing her part to minimize the carbon footprint of clothing in sophisticated, airy, and bold color dresses, Leanne Marshall opened the show with a navy structured fitted dress. Next came another casual look with a jacket, next pants to the point of question:where are those dreamy dresses? If momentum is what she was building, it worked. It also raised the question, is Leanne Marshall hinting us into a casual wear line?
[envira-gallery id=”20144″]It was on look six where the color explosion happened like she knows best. Beaming into our eyes were electrifying hues that don’t need light to shine. Still she kept it easy, savoring at every turn, and bringing us back to neutral tones and a casual pants jacket set that created a break in the collection. At this point, we want to see her hand at a casual wear. And, then it happened, the ethereal dresses down the runway in beautiful silk and chiffon bright reflective hues.
She often talks and relates her designs to everyday woman. This season and we really hope everyone after, she showed dresses on women of different body types. It’s said a good show causes emotion, that’s what her closing dress did. Not just that, it took one to the depths of the sea where only colors like these could possibly exist naturally and proving again she knows well American woman evening wear and probably why the red carpet keeps choosing her designs.
