The stage was opulently set for the Tadashi Shoji 2016 NYFW showcase which was a veritable Summer wonderland. Merging the East and West, the ever fashion-forward Shoji presented an easily wearable collection.
Models emerged from a violet forest beset with beautiful foliage reminiscent of Japan. Shoji’s floral designs played well with understated neutrals and vibrant brights. Rounding out the collection were plush yet light sweaters perfect for chilly Spring nights, sheer violet tulle over floor length skirts, and crisp white separates.
Boasting intricate embroidery with sweet eyelet detailing, this season’s evening gowns spoke to Spring weddings or long Summer nights. Shoji most certainly did not disappoint with this collection. His exact tailoring and expert attention to detail will be well received by fashionistas in search of perfect ensembles for warm weather events.
