FRAME Denim Features 70s Flashback for Fall 2015

In Fall & Winter Trends, NYFW Trend Reports by Otaymah Bonds

FRAME Denim ushers in a flashback to 70’s fashion for their Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week collection. Models looked oh so chic in their retro-inspired threads. Flared denim pants were embellished with wide pockets and deep creases true to 70’s form. Chunky knits and corduroy made an appearance in the collection, so everyone is sure to be cozy and warm yet in style! Most of the looks in the collection were cinched at the waist using thick leather belts, either over chunky sweaters or enhancing the more streamlined striped button up shirts.

Hemlines varied in FRAME Denim’s collection from long knee or calf length sweater dresses and skirts to short suede A-line skirts. Models wore hair free-flowing and loose with a center part. Hair was smooth and low-maintenance. Perfect for laid back 70’s style.
