We’ve all wondered what’s inside the tents at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Just getting access to the “tents” at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week requires a media pass or an invitation from a designer. Neither is easy to get. Often there are people who walk up to the security guards outside and ask how they can “buy” a ticket and are informed that there are no tickets. It’s an invitation-only event for fashion industry professionals such as buyers, editors and members of the press. If you work for a PR company or in the fashion industry you can often get an invitation, but you definitely have to know someone.
So in lieu of a personal invitation – here is a little tour of what was behind the doors of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week during the Fall 2013 Season.
The lobby entrance to the tents is a great place to people watch. You’ll see the fashion industry elite decked out in their own unique interpretations of the lastest fashion trends.
The “Media Lounge” is where all of the international press corp can upload photos and edit their videos and send to their editors for posting on web sites and in magazines all over the world.

Every season the Maybelline booth is hands-down the most popular booth by giving out makeup samples after every show.
